Phase 1
The charm and beauty of a mountain log cabin was created from a former modern townhome in two phases. The first project began with the expansion into unused basement areas to create additional recreational space. The basement was completed with all new custom oak flooring and appropriate finishing to give a much larger and cabin-like appearance.
Phase 2
Involved gutting the interior of the main and upper floors and a square dry walled staircase was replaced with a dramatic curved log staircase extending over three floors. The result increased the capacity in the entertaining area in the sitting and dining areas and allowed a more functional and updated kitchen. Carpet was replaced with oak and the ceilings were altered to give a log cabin appearance.
